What’s one of the most important things any girl can have? Her girlfriends!!

Recently, I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful Ms. Rayne & Ms. Sidney while they enjoyed a boat ride and some play in the sun. These two have known each other since they were babies. How sweet it was watching them skip around in the water, dig for creatures in the sand, and giggle like little girls do.

Mazzy

This weekend I snapped some photos of my two favorite dogs, Bosley and Mazzy. Watching these pups enjoy themselves, whether it be riding on the boat, running on the beach, getting treats or a belly rub always remind me of how much we can learn from our dogs by observing them taking in these simple pleasures. Life is what you make of it and most of the time, it’s the simple moments that make it worth living. Dogs don’t need extravagant materials to make them happy; a ride in the car with the wind in their face or a playful romp through the grass will do just fine. This holds true for all of us, too. I know for me, a refreshing breeze running through my hair or sharing laughter with an old friend is pure, unadulterated bliss. Our furry friends offer more than companionship, they offer some very valuable lessons.

I just love these photos and the expressions on the dogs’ faces. Mazzy has the prettiest eyes. They are transparent to her goofy, sweet personality. Bosley is such a little man. I love how he looks with his ears perked up. Spending time with both of these dogs makes me so happy.
